To evangelize is to have the fire of God and turn it into value in the world

The big question is always there, in many hearts. It was there even before that night in Bethlehem a Child changed history.

" To evangelize is to have the fire of God and turn it into value in the world ( ... ) It is evangelizing if one heart consciousness is God who acts in the Church and if you have a burning passion to communicate Christ the world. " With these reflections , Benedict XVI opened the session of the Synod on the new evangelization .

The big question is always there, in many hearts. Was there even before that night in Bethlehem a Child changed the story, and again it resonate - between persecution and growing indifference - after two thousand years of spreading the Gospel : Who is God? And what else has to do with humanity? The Holy Father touched the heart leading to the Synod Aula noise beating in the world who looks up to heaven , he sees nothing and still wondering :

"Behind the silence of the universe , behind the clouds of history , is there or is there not a God ? And if this God exists, we know what has to do with us? This God is good and does really good power in the world or not? This question is as current today as it was at that time day. Many people ask : Is God a hypothesis or not? Is it a reality or not ? Why not let perceive ? 'Gospel' means that God has broken his silence : God has spoken, God exists. God knows us , God loves us, has entered history . Jesus is His Word , God with us, God shows us that He loves us , suffering with us to death and rises . "
